It was exactly what we were hoping for - getting to know the real people of Nepal, playing music together, making friends, and visiting the common homes of the people and watching them make their art - paper, pottery, woodcarvings , etc. I loved watching the children dance and then dancing with them (even though we were nowhere close to dancing well lol). I loved walking through the streets with the children and talking to them. I loved feeling the spirit of the people through their kindness and religion.
